The WEISSCAM DIGIMAG DM-2 is an uncompressed and extremly compact HD-SDI single and dual link recorder, which has the uniqueness of recording either YCbCr / RGB Streams or RAW Datas. This gives you the freedom to work either in a HD Workflow or in a RAW Workflow.
The RAW Datas are stored by using the Weisscam "RAW in HD SDI" mapping, which allows you to map up to 2 RAW images in 1 HD SDI frame and therefore download for example 100 RAW file in 1080p 50 mode.
It's high capacity up to 2 Terrabyte and durable design makes it a perfect recording device for any shooting situations without changing the magazin all the time.
The possibility to record other cameras signals like ARRIFLEX D20/21, Sony F35, GrassValley Viper, Phantom HD and Standart HDTV (like Sony F900) makes it very flexible and multi functional.
The recorded files can be instantly previewed on the onboard display or on any other HD Monitor.
For downloading the files you can either use the HD SDI single and dual link output, but also the IT interfaces like Fibre Channel and Fire wire.
In conjuction with the external WEISSCAM Debayerbox DBB, you are able to do a realtime debayering of the stored RAW Datas on the DIGIMAG DM-2. You can offer the post house immediately a standard HD YCbC.
